An East Madison, Wisconsin restaurant, Hot n’ Spicy specializes in Southeast Asian cuisine, focusing on traditional Laos flavors. The restaurant serves a small, yet eclectic menu of Southeast Asian cuisine. In the humbling setting of Viet Hoa Supermarket, our open kitchen serves restaurant quality food with bold flavors. As a result of our obscure location and intimate ambiance, our patrons and our small team create a unique, yet intimate experience that cannot be fully appreciated without experiencing it first hand. Her head chef, Tammy Phommachanh, serves dishes rooted in traditional family recipes and knowledge that have been passed down through the generations and have been updated for modern tastes, which her eldest son, Sam, is now being tasked with preparing.
