Founded in 2007.

As a native of Poland, Kris Famurat moved to the United States in 1999. He first resided in Chicago, where he worked for a construction company for several years. With his dedication, reliability, and understanding of construction processes, Famurat quickly advanced to supervisor status. After many requests from friends to repair and remodel their properties, he founded Famurat Builders in 2007. With Kris’ wide range of skills, he is able to tackle a range of projects, from delicate custom carpentry to large renovations. In Chicago, Famurat often traveled for special projects. He has been described as creative, meticulous, precise, flexible, disciplined and hardworking. In 2009, he spent several months at a local company learning the “eco-minded” construction approach. Additionally, he has worked on projects in Wisconsin, Florida, and New York. In June 2010, he relocated to Florida.
